One Shinning moment

What does the theme song of the NCAA Basketball Final Four and Support have in common? First of all as DR Joan D. would say it starts with an anchor point. This is the time, or event of a shinning moment in you life that alters (hopefully in a positive way) the way you approach future events. Again hopefully this allows you to reach back to that good feeling of confidence that you did something in the past that you can draw on to succeed now. So this may be by yourself but usually is a team effort of support - either directly on a team or by others that indirectly contributed to your success. Think about what past event was your Shinning Moment. As a personal note I met and sat by David Barrett the song writer at the Final Four. Maybe it got me to thinking...

  1. ONE SHINING MOMENT, YOU REACHED DEEP INSIDE
ONE SHINING MOMENT, YOU KNEW YOU WERE ALIVE....when you heard your voice for the first time walking through the gate.
Are there other moments you think about for your vision quest where you felt supported?

  2. One shining moment--when I walked through a door in the sun and knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that love is all there is.......
when I saw the trees bow and experienced the interconnection of the whole universe......
when I heard the stars sing......... when I said I do..........when I looked into Kristin's eyes the first time and heard her name--the Christ within...........when i held Justin for the first time and knew that this was all there was........when i knew that i could listen to my heart and follow it..............so many, deeply blessed.

  3. there you are
    you're running for your life
    you're a shooting star
    And all the years
    no one knows
    just how hard you worked
    but now it shows...

    Jack,
This is a great post. Thanks for sharing it.
I can see why you relate to the song.
maybe not a coincidence you met the songwriter. Once you told me the story of a time you were in Nashville and walked in to a concert and one of your favorite songs was being sung at the exact moment. You talked about how magical that was and how it made you feel because you were thinking of how much you loved that song. You said it felt like a gift to you to have your desire heard and manifested without any effort on your part. Just the desire fulfilled.
I see that possibility for you...to have your hearts desires fulfilled without all the hard work. you certainly have manifested a life of fulfillment based on hard, long hours of effort and intention. Maybe now you are entering a time of life to receive blessings through stillness and inner focus.
